Weird Summer Weather

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

Help Support :

The weekend here was nice but it has been hot as hell. I hope that it will go down and no more triple diget heat indexes as I am now able to drive again after being in the hospital.

Record Low

The lowest night temp on record for yesterday was 52 in 1880, last night that record was broke with a low of 50.

Our average temperature for the month of July is 78.1.

I'm loving the cool nights, last night I had to add another blanket. Very rare for this time of year.

I agree, It has been really cool for us here in the upper midwest (Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin and Mich)

The first weekend of June, I had the furnace on!

Only had the A/C on for 5 or 6 days at the end of June cuz of the high humidity.

Other than that whole month of July, we had not turned on the A/C yet. I'd take that.. nice that we are saving on our electric bill!

We been okay here in Rochester for rain... but, I'm seeing the lawn are starting to turn brown... They say 50% rain for Tuesday.

It's been unseasonably cool

here in NE Ohio....part of me is ok with it, but it has been hard on some of the more heat-dependent vegetable and fruit crops, such as tomatoes, peppers, and potatoes. If this continues, supplies may be short and prices higher.

Come to the Pacific Northwest for some great weather

Here in New Westminster, BC., we've been having a fantastic summer thus far. Highs often in the mid 80s, lows around 60. However, we are desperate for rain. All the lawns are brown as they normally are in August.

So for those that think it's always rainy here in the Pacific Northwest - come see for yourselves. (and I might even let you view my 1955 model 0611 Hoover twin-tub washer!)

Regards to all...Brad

Well, it's arming up a bit around here, mid 70's are fine, right now it's 62 at 2:30 AM, just about right.

After a rainy June July has been quite dry. I didn't bother to start up the sprinklers since it was so wet, now I'm not sure I want to for one month. Got a bad mole problem. It's interesting, I had the sprinkler on my small vegetable garden and about 10' of the grass got wet in front of it, and the moles went crazy! Hills zigging and zagging everywhere the water got on the grass. While there is evidence of activity elsewhere in the lawn, I wonder if I keep it dry they will move on to the neighbors yard. He seems to be watering 24/7, with a traveling sprinkler.

Boy, it has been hot down there if 92 degrees is cool by com

Well Eugene, when one consider's that from June 23rd through today, we had 100+ degree temps every day except for 6 days. So, essentially 3 weeks of 100+ degree days. (where I am in Central Texas).
