Thanks John, yeah I used JB Plastic weld on the where the disk meets the dowels so hopefully that will solve the problem permanently. Thanks as always for the info and offer of a good used one!

Question just out of sheer curiosity would a power clean module fit in a 69 Whirlpool?

Wheel of power clean pump module fit a 1969 whirlpool dishwasher.

No unfortunately that was the last year of the larger diameter pump the power clean module would fit back to a 1970 however.

Dishwashers peaked in performance, longevity and reliability in the 1980s. If I had to choose any DWs from any decade it would hands down be the 80s.
