If you refresh/reload our home page (www.automaticwasher.org) at the very bottom you will see a map. It shows the location of everyone who has click on the home page since about 9:30am this morning. You do need to hit refresh to see an updated map as the map only updates about once every 15 minutes. There are more non-USA hits that I would have guessed. If you click on the map you can see where the last 25 hits originated from. Very interesting, I love how global we are!

Yeah, but all in all Lafayette is a pretty decent place so if you have to borrow an IP address it could be worse. A friend of mine use to live there and I always enjoyed visting and eating the local Cajun food, but he packed up his little Westy front loader and Radaranges and moved to Ohio. I know he misses it!

Cool....

I seem to be incognito, too. LOL. Whenever I log in it says simply "United States". I almost feel undercover!=)

I should remind everyone that the dots are not the location of your house, but the location of your Internet Service Provider. 90% of the time your ISP is within 25 miles or so of your house or work.

Hey, I see a dot for Boise! If I look closely enough, I can imagine me mowing the lawn or hanging out clothes in the back pasture while trying to not step in something.

How cool!

was wondering what the map was when i logged on just a few mintues ago....That is sooo cool!@ Robert your just the greatest!

Puzzling...

Louis, I didn't look at the times and it's indeed impossible for me to travel that fast. Yesterday I saw two entries from The Netherlands, one: ", Netherlands" and one "Amsterdam, Netherlands". Today I see: ", Netherlands" and "Klein-Overleek, Netherlands" so which one is me? I am inclined to think that it is ", Netherlands" for my home address and "Amsterdam, Netherlands" for my work address but what is your entry then?

(I would like to travel by broomstick though)

I guess you are right, I had several looks and this last time I saw one "Groningen, Netherlands", so that is probably me, although you never know for sure. I'm on cable internet through @Home, don't know if the server is in Groningen too. I wonder if this list is totally accurate.

Enjoy your weekend!

Of course I know that, Robert

The nearest ISP is in Lafayette even though there is a dial-up number (one) in Opelousas that EVERYONE uses and jams it up. Ugh. Good thing I'm on DSL now.
