Our old Dirt Devil finally bit the dust, and we're looking for a replacement. We already have an upright vacuum for our house, this will be a small, corded, hand-held or portable model with lots of power (preferably 12AMP) to use for our cars. Budget is no more than $200.

We came across a few so far:

Electrolux EL7020A Canister Vac
Eureka 71B Hand-Held Vac
Electrolux 3670G Boss Canister Vac
Electrolux Eureka Sanitaire SC3683A Commercial Canister Vac

That last one sounds best to me, but I'm judging only on appearance and not experience.

Any tips/info/recs appreciated. Thanks.

We have dogs and a lot of dog hair.
The best vacuum we have used on our cars has been our Rainbow with the hand held beater bar attatchment. It's like putting an upright vacuum on your seats. Very handy to use and just pulls that dog hair off the seats! Since we have a Miele for the house, the Rainbow has become our garage vac.
Now we usually use our vintage 1970 VW for carting dogs around in. With the vinyl interior we don't need a vac at all. Just point a leaf blower in the car and 90 seconds later it's all cleaned up!
