Westinghouse let employees put their designs in their own name. George wanted the inventor to have credit for his invention. I remember hearing it in this documentary on Westinghouse. Good one if you haven't seen it, but I don't have the time right now to rewatch it to find the quote about patents.

found a new home
I went all the way to lansing for this baby…It does however need a heating element and a new music box…the element is missing all together…..its now in arizona in a place where old westys go to retire…nice and warm no rust and are used and never repainted if possible….I need the washer for this year any leads would be greatly accepted……I love these machines and want to only collect these slant fronts…mark in arizona 1 520 668 7883
