Hi! Did not think to get a model number but can if anyone is interested. It works but the inside of the freezer door was frozen and broke off when it was opened. Don't know if it can be repaired or just good for parts. Hate to just trash it. Doing this for my 90 year old neighbor so whatever is fair (if anything) would be appreciated. On the East Side of Cincinnati, Ohio. Let me know if you would like any more photos. Thank you.

That is a beautiful and unusual refrigerator.  Was the freezer door damaged due to an accumulation of ice?  That would indicate a problem with the frost free system unless, like the GE Combinations from this same era, only the refrigerator section was frost free.

 

Interior shots, including one of the damaged area, would be nice to see if it's not much trouble for you.

On this model the freezer was manual defrost only the Fresh Food section was Frost Free.

Thanks for the additional pictures.  If the freezer door is salvageable, this could be a beautiful refrigerator for someone.  I am in love with the script on the refrigerator door compartments!  This is the perfect fridge for anyone who uses a lot of eggs!

 

John, thanks for clarifying.  I had a hunch the freezer was a manual defrost system.  Probably no fun to defrost, but not a huge compromise for such a pretty and unusual refrigerator.

 

I hope the bottom grille isn't lost.  That's my pet peeve about pre-owned refrigerators.

Man, that had to have been a LOT of frost to pull the inner door panel off!
