if im wrong then call me an idiot.......not kidding

GRAB THE BOTTOM OF THE PANEL WITH BOTH HANDS RIGHT ABOVE THE BLACK STRIP KICK PANEL AND PULL THE BOTTOM TOWARDS YOU. THERE ARE 2 CLAMPS AT THE BOTTOM OF THE WHITE PANEL. IT MAY FEEL STIFF BUT IT JUST POPS OUT AND DROPS DOWN

Which hose, Brian? The one from the fill valves into the tub? Or the hose between the tub sump and the pump? The filler into the tub should pop right off...

this

is the end that goes into the tub.....its knotched.....the rest broke like glass but the other end was like a regular hose

OK,

We need some more pics. The good news is, Westinghouse in that period used a lot of very standard dimensions and normal plumbing components.

If push comes to shove, you can use a hi-temp epoxy to attach a brass hose-connector to the drum and then - carefully looping the new hose to cope with vibration - solve the problem.

But a few more pics would help.
Thanks

By the way, be careful taking any side panels off. Westinghouse had this thing with anchoring thermostats and thinner wires to the struts spanning between the front and the rear of their slant-fronts. A nice surprise if you pull too hard...not.

Is that hose similar to the one Robert changed in his Whirlpool combo? The one he posted pictures of?

this hose was called...

a spool- I do not know why, but that is what our parts didtributer had it listed as, & I bought the last four that they had- the sump to pump hose from the newer 27 inch westies used the same size, ( the hoses all have a flanged lip that squeezes into the opening, use silicone to lube it & seal it..) but that one has an angle to it- but it fits the hose opening to the outer tub-& fits the pump too-the earlier westies had a metal nipple comming of the outer tub, with a very short space between it & the pump- Perhaps Unimatic may have a source for what you need- What wrong with the door? is it rusted out?

yes

the bottom of the door has holes ansd lots of rust ....looks like the owner filled it by hand as there was no hook ups where it was and the fill valve was disconnected

Will this work?

Try it & see! Can you find a flanged hose with less of an angle? I made a few attempts with this kind till I got a non angled hose-
