I have a range like this, but it has white knobs with gold inserts for the surface units, 3 of which are five heat and one was a Super Corox with an infinite switch that blasts 230 across a 115 volt unit. Now that is just an infinite switch. All of the surface unit switches have a window where the color code for the selected heat shows up. It is old enough that it still has an open coil bake element.
Mine has the clock in the center of the lower part of the backspash, with the oven control to the left, and minute timer to the right. It also has white knobs, that are NOT color coded. I like the looks of mine much better.
