I have just been browsing my local newspaper, the Daily Telegraph online and have come across an unbelievable story of animal cruelty.
It related to a little kitten called Adam, who was in a cage awaiting spaying, when 2 despicable teenage girls poured flammable liquid on him and then set him on fire, the poor dear little fella suffered horrible burns and and his back is totally exposed and his ears and tail had to be cut away somewhat.
I cannot understand what brings people do do disgusting acts like this, I hope these 2 little bitches have the book thrown at them.
If anyone wants to see the story, just go to www.thedailytelegraph.com.au the story is maion page at the moment.
Cheers folks.

Have no fear, the universe will punish them for their evil w

I once saw a kitten living in a grocery store that had had both of its eyes burned out by cigarettes. I was grateful to the store-owner who rescued the kitten.

I can't even imagine how anyone could do this.

As we have seen with the recent scandal involving Michael Vick, the evil of animal abuse is still as widespread as it ever was. Hardly a week goes by here in Atlanta that I don't see some horror on the news involving animal cruelty

I hope somehow little Adam can be saved-he will be a crippled little cat-too bad.thanks for the info.It just shows some people should not have pets or handle animals. Its scary-could these same people who are cruel to a cat be cruel to another person?

I hope the little sluts burn

like they did to the kitten. I'm still angry-no, horrified that the two boys in England got off so easily after beating a three year old to death. Even though it seems just as sick, I think the evil humans that torture animals and innocent people, should get it back.

How can people be so cruel?

Look what happened in WWII, in Darfur, in Bosnia, all over. How can we care for helpless little animals when we continue to kill each other? Still, animal cruelty is a sign of a sick, sociopathic person, and it should not be tolerated. Laws protecting animals today are a joke. Anyone interested in becoming active in changing laws to protect animals should join the Animal Protection Institute. They have a wonderful website, www.api4animals.org. I encourage all animal lovers to join.

I hope the Michael Vick case will get the public to insist
on tougher animal abuse laws and that Michael Vick
will get a severe jail sentence and not the usual
slap on the wrist from a judge. The news showed "rape stands"
where the female pit bulls were placed so they could not move when they were being mated. Perhaps Michael Vick should be
placed in a rape stand when he is sent to prison.

The reality is that they will be given counselling and probably sent on safari somewhere for 3 months at the tax payers expense to help with their rehabilitation. A soak in gasoline and a naked flame would suffice and be much cheaper.

I still go white with rage over the murderous bastards who killed Jamie Bulger and now live the life of riley.

hoovermatic

Yes that is the case, I just couldn't think of names. Hopefully when fate catches them, we will hear about it.

sick

stuff like this makes me physically sick, and it makes me wonder if people have any conscience at all.
If I were one of those kids parents there would be one seriously hurt kid.
Most people who know me know I how much I love my Jack, and how fiercely protective of him I am. When Jack was a puppy there was a little boy on the next block who came running up to us one night and deliberately stepped on one of Jack's paws, making him yelp! My reaction was to whack the little F**KER upside the head, I hit him so hard my hand tingled! Then I dragged him by the hair home to mommy and had some words with her. One of my neighbors witnessed the little brat stepping on Jack and went with me. I made it very clear to mommy that her little "angel" would get hurt if he ever came near me or Jack again.
Today when we see that kid outside he points to Jack and tells the kids he's with "That dog bites"
My response to the brat is "No the dog dosen't bite, but I sure as hell do!"
I have zero tolerance for rotten kids, and even less for people who abuse animals.

These kids that hurt the kitten should have the book thrown at them, NO MERCY!!

Steve, Kids play with many violent games and see violent films because violence is far more acceptable in the eyes of many parents than films with even a little sex, so they act out violent fantasies. Look at the difference in ratings between violent action films and films with some sex scenes. I am not saying that young children should be exposed to sexual situations in films, but they should not be exposed to violent situations either.

A reporter on one channel interviewed 2 players from the Washington Redskins about the Vick thing and they said, between a lot of "you know"s, that people should not mess with a great guy like him or make trouble for him. One said that he was from Mississippi and could show you lots of back roads where dog fights were held and they didn't make trouble, etc. so it must be a part of their culture. Maybe a dog is no more than a weapon to them and they don't consider that animals suffer pain. Fine role models, especially when you hear about how the puppies judged unsuitable for fighting were very brutally killed. I'll bet that they caught hell from the front office for saying what they did.

It's been my observation, through work and personal experience, that abusing animals is frequently just the first step toward abusing other people.

What they do to the animals, they will soon enough do to you.

Animal abuse is awful! I can't understand why someone would even imagine doing such an act as that. I love my Greyhound Fred and he is the apple of my eye.
Good for you Jeff, that brat needed a kick in the pants for sure and I bet his mother protected him feriously when you took him home. I am so glad to be done with school for that very reason. Horrid, wretched urchins who go about and think they are wonderful; therefore, eveyone else should too. Oh my, I don't want to get on my soap box about this so I'll stop. Bye for now and I sure do hope the cat survives this. Gary

Parents...

Gary the kids mom was pretty upset, especially when she saw me coming up the street towing her screaming spawn by the hair. My neighbor across the street was with me, I dropped the kid on the porch and told mommy what her baby had done. Of course the little brat denied it, but my neighbor(who was a friend of mommy's) backed me up. Mommy sent the kid in the house and then apologized to me.
I don't know what the kids punishment(if any) was, but I was reminded of my dad's words to me when I was less than angelic: "Nothing wrong with you a good kick in the A** wouldn't fix"
I'd guess the kid was 7 or 8 at the time...

Adam, the Kitten...

Adam is to undergo more surgery today, to help begin closing the wound on his back and hips. It will take at least surgeries to accomplish the entire job; there is a lot of skin missing. Adam's pelvic bones are sticking through his flesh at this point. The cost of surgery and aftercare is expected to be $20,000 to $30,000. I'm providing a link to the San Francisco Chronicle story on the atrocity; the photos are heartbreaking.

I hope the book gets thrown at the two girls who did this:

THere was the case of the two young teenage scumbags in Atlanta who were nice enough to kill a puppy by baking it in the oven. THe judge was not amused as he sentenced them to 10 years in prison for it. GOOD FOR HIM!! I hope they get caught in something hot and cook.
