Controls on Broad Side.. It was a very cheaply built complex, also imho i think that ones behind could turn the water off very easy. The reason i think:
Its cheper. One hot water line run straight and one cold water line run straight. Plus if everyone on that "block" or "tower" uses a single gas fired water heater (which is very common here and in some citys like detroit) than thats a major savings not having to use mult. water heaters, etc.

My new apartment has its own little 30 gallon hot water tank, which is uncommon here, and its something i really love.

shower heads

Well normally you do not install TWO shower heads of course!!
We had only one and that was nice.
It is a tankless water heater installed in the shower head and with a pressure switch it switches itself on and off.
Usually theres also a switch for the plug arround - mostly at the wall in or outside the bathroom or next to the socket like in the UK. But these showers have a switch too! It switches from summer to winter setting (half and full heat).
But the one I wanted wasn't the shower but the one for under the sink in the kitchen as we have only a tank heater with one gallon there!
The price was about 8-15 Euros!
