Wards sure did!

Mine's missing the lid and the crank for the wriniger. Also, mine just has a "Agitate" and "Drain" knob. Needless to say, I believe mine is BOL! When I get home I'll post some pics of it doing it's job!

Neat little wringer! I wonder if the agitator is on upside-down?

If you know this is not the place to post wringers, then why did you not post this in the Super forum where it belongs?

Neat machine!!! Especially with the different settings. If it were me I would have posted it here too...and not felt guilty about it :)

Laundress----

Thanks for drawing my attention to this-----I had forgotten all about these things. I don't remember ever watching one in operation but I do remember them.

And yes, the agitator is right side up----evidently quite happy to drag everything back and forth from the top!

Agitator....

Nope, that's how it goes! It does appear to be on upside down. When I got my machine home I figured that it was put on incorrectly. But much to my chagrin, it's on correctly. I'm going out on a limb here and say that I believe the "gentle" cycle is when you fill the washer up to the bottom line on the agitator and only about 2" of "fins" are in the water then... The higher up the water the more "agressive" the wash. And yes, there really isn't any turnover in this machine...just lots of swishing back and forth...now where did I file those darned pics....
