I chanced upon this on youtube. I presume it is Italian in origin and supposedly from 1970. I don't know if Kitchenaid had a hand in this, but it does look like a hybrid of some sort. No idea if the guy who posted these is already a forum member, but he has a lot of really interesting stuff and he doesn't talk much.

Embedding for this video is disabled, so you'll have to click on the link.

Enjoy!

This one is the same brand as the above video, but from 1968

Unlike the 1970 model, this one has two spray arms. It looks like a really solid machine.

Again, I can't embed this video.

The 1966 model is even more reminiscent of an older KitchenA

It has the loading diagram stenciled on the inside of the door.

Then there is the Rex 3Dinamic DeLuxe 1972

This looks like a full-size dishwasher, but this one is really interesting on the inside.

What got me onto this was a video of a Zerowatt washer that

...especially for a European machine. It appears to be a semi-automatic machine with interesting baffles inside the vertical, perforated wash tub. I wish there was a video showing this machine in action.

Like I said before, the guy that does these videos isn't big on dialogue, but we don't need that anyway. These vids speak for themselves. I love how he points to things as he films them; it's kind of cute in a nerdy way.

He is an italian guy, I do not know him nor I want to, but I've seen many videos on youtube of him and I can just say that yes he has a big collection as big as his rudeness and childishness!
In fact I've commented on many videos of him just expressing my opnion on a few things and he probably got offended by this and blocked me, oh poor little boy!
In my videos I always let people say what they think without blocking anyone because it's fair so! Everyone must have the right to say what he does think, unless you're rude and offensive in that way.....

Better that he is not a member here if this is his way of doing things!!

Anyway
What I can tell you about Zoppas is that it had nothing to do with Kitchenaid, zoppas is a zanussi company and always built stuff in italy in their factory, is an historical brand that started to produce everything for the home by the 30s, even wood stoves....
They maybe have been inspired by kitchenaid for their models....
I'd like to get my hands in one of these dishwahers just if I cannot find an american one here, these old italian dishwashers used to perform enough well....and I'm bored of my dishwasher that is a junk!

That wash arm looks identical to our old KitchenAid 1976 Imperial convertible/portable.

"Blocking" people...

Pronto, Federico!

I totally agree about many You Tube users. I have been blocked by several of my "former friends", even one I met in NYC from The Netherlands! We couldn't be better friends despite the distance! What is up with these seemingly paranoid people? I try my best to comment positively on YT videos, and I get many nice comments in return.

@Jseaker
Can't say I'm glad to know that I'm not alone in this, but at least relieved! :)
Is never pleasant this thing, also when they mark your comment as spam when it is not!
It always happends especially when I write something that at the end is an incontrovertible fact, it's too difficult for people admitting of being wrong.
So I take this thing so, when they blocks me (without a fair reason) it's the proof that they too knew I was right!!!
