What caused my hotpoint wma64 to leak yesterday????

Yesterday my hotpoint ultima leaked quite badly all over the floor so today I took the back panel off and put it on a separate spin cycle to investigate the leak and it didn't leak while on spin only cycle and watching the motor and belt while machine was spinning was interesting and still I dunno what caused the leak, can anyone help me plz?
