LOL!! Actually it's not that bad. This is my desk in the public space. I don't think anyone in such a space would have personal stuff. The colors are very warm, the wall behind me is a very warm and bright red. There are other colors too, especially a lot of orange (the company color). During the day there are a lot of papers on my desk and some other stuff as well. I am keeping my corner very tidy so the cleaners can clean properly which is necessary with my dustmite allergy.

Hmmm, visiting royalty? Politics? Cure for all the world's problems? No, just O. J. Simpson back in town for his preliminary hearing. This is just SOME of the media that rolled in down the street from where I work. Streets blocked off, lots of police presence, a man in a chicken suit and another walking nekid, except for wearing a barrel and a large protest sign.

Kevin-Ahh-the RCA 5H-worked on many of those and its 10Kw cousin-the 10H.Good boxes.I have also worked on and installed the Harris solid state transmitters.One was broke even when it was new-had to contact Harris to get parts under warrantee.Got the parts and fixed it.There were LOTS of RCA "H" style transmitters in the Wash Dc-Baltimore area
Glad folks are going back to film cameras and getting their old ones repaired.And--should Kodak reconsider closing down their film Dept?there was rumors on another website Kodak was going to close down their film division that makes film for still cameras
Oh yes-On the Harris SS transmitters-sometimes direct or bad lightening hits will take out MosFet transisitors in those-its then a transmitter repairman's dream-get out your ohmmeter and measure across the 10Kohm gate bias resistors-if you measure below 10Kohm-that transsistor is shorted!And the transistors blow to protect their fuses!Otherwise the SS rigs are reliable-often you cannot predict failures with them-the transistors and boards could last many thousands of operating hours or only a few hundred.Tubes you can predict how long most last.

My other half is a tesco stock control manager, just got signed off a month ago! His store is pretty small so hes in charge of the whole thing. He totally loves it and i've grown used to the really long hours since the old manager was totally rubbish. Charles has to clean up her mess. Looking forward to Christmas? Charles came home frazled the day he had to do his BWS order lol

I love my job, cant wait to progress but the job itself at basic level is stressful enough, I already sorted my BWS order, bad that was! You do come home feeling fried and tired but I would never swap it for any job and a bloody good company too, Tesco know how to look after the staff. To think I considered going into teaching too! Id of been sacked for caning a kid. There are downsides, Its the reps I dont care for, if they want to see me they need to book appointments, they come in right when im up to my eyes in Gap Scan and checking in the cigarette load. Feel free to add me to MSN For a chat, maybe if Charles want to he can too. Swap strategies and work practises. Would be interesting how other stores do it. Some stuff varies greatly I notice. Rob

Yeah, i'll add you the now! I got over excited when i saw "Tesco" and "Stock Control" lol. Well, if your wanting to progress then Charles can probably help you. I think his options pack is still in his car lol. Tesco do treat there managers well, even if some of the other managers don't treat each other well lol.

Taken actually back in Feb of 2006, but not much has changed. The Tab is long gone, a SAP upgrade, changed desks, and much less paper clutter. Oh yeah, fewer things are posted up on the sound deading cube-walls <br
