What do you know about Beatty wringers?

I was at a recycle store today and saw 2 wringer washers for sale (50.00). One was a square tub Maytag (very nice, I didn't realize how minimally styled these were) and a 50's pink Beatty.

From time to time I do see Beatty appliances. Does anyone know anything about them?

Beatty Appliances

Were produced by Beatty Brothers Ltd,a Canadian manufacturing company that made everything from farm equipment to laundry appliances. Had an ironer by them years ago, but sold it on.

The Canada connection would explain why Beatty Bros laundry appliances seem to pop up mainly in north, northeast, and northwest states, that is places close to the border.
