What happened to Frigidaire?

I always see ads for their kitchen appliances, but it seems like their laundry appliances have fallen off the face of the earth. They haven't updated their line in a long time. Local stores don't even carry them.

What's going on here??

"No more JETCONE, no more washers..." --That would be my honest guess, or at least why I wouldn't miss them...

if you look on the canadien website of fridgedair

well if you look on the canadien website of fridgedair they have a few listed but they are mostly front load washer

It could be that Elux Corp. is only concentrating on the Electrolux brand in US laundry.
Odd, since the Frigidaire dishwashers are everywhere (eyeroll).
But you're right, I don't see them anymore either.
I remember Frigidaire had some small, basic but GOOD front loaders around, but even those are gone.
Now I only see the odd, cheap Frigidaire laundry combo at Menards once in a while.

The basic front loaders are alive and well at my Local Lowes... My mom has one of the first of that style, An Affinity i think? 12 years old and she isn't known for keeping washers long...
I see frigidaire Refrigerators and a few basic dishwashers around.. And thats it...
I just sold my SXS Frigidaire from 2 years ago.. Didn't need it.. But it seemed ok

They don't have many options for top loaders...but their basic agitator model looks pretty cool actually. I had seriously thought about it when I was in the market.

The fridge that came with my condo was built in Jan 2005 and it still works great. I'd like a new one but I can't see giving it up if it's still working lol

You know, I haven't noticed Frigidaire laundry appliances either lately. I do still see a lot of their new side by side fridges, smoothtop ranges and BOL dishwashers for sale though in remodeled houses. I personally like the looks of Whirlpool's products better though, but most of the Frigidaire stuff I see is rather low end.
