where did KIC laundry appliances go? i had a CT 511 sensordry dual heat dryer which was excellent. 15 years old then the paddles started dis-integrating so we bought a whirlpool heavy duty. plz post pics of KIC washers as i have neva seen 1 and any other KIC dryers
thankx

KIC

I had never heard of it either until it was mentioned on this forum.

It certainly doesn't exist here, must be local to South Africa.

If your dryer was made in the UK, and KIC has a relationship with Philips/Whirlpool, your dryer will have most likely been made by Crosslee at the old Philips factory.

These are based on the Philips dryer design and are sold today badged as White Knight.

thank you. i still cant believe how unknown it is. here in SA we only still get the fridges. the drums on the white knight do look very similar to that of thr kic. the bosch wta2000 has the exact same drum

bosch wta2000

That was the entry level Bosch dryer, also made by Crosslee, hence the similar appearance and same drum.

i know its the entry level. they still popular here. although they very expensive for an entry level. the only difference between the bosch and kic is that the bosch is a reverse action and has different styling. do you mybe have a pic of 1 of these croslee dryers? our kic would have been 16 years old now so 1995 is the year

siemens also did one along side the bosch version. the siemens one is rare-ish
plus with bosch being owned by siemens it makes sense that they would source from the same company as each other,
