That is know as the Kenmore Match All Dryer
Sears sold this dryer in the early 1970's in a couple of different versions (with Fabric Master automatic drying, or Electronic Sensor drying.....with the mini hamper door or a full with door) they all had the same console design as yours though. There is no matching washer to go with this dryer. It was made to be mated with any brand of washer. To find out the exact year your model was made look at the tag inside the door and the first 2 numbers after the 110. will tell you the year. 2 of my neighbors had this dryer when I was growing up. Mrs Catchings' version of this dryer was gas and Mrs. Sample's was electric but they both had the mini hamper door like yours... Occasionally versions of this dryer have turned up on this site but they have always had the full with doors. This is the first time in years I have seen one that looked like the ones I remember from my childhood. Also i am sure that this dryer was made in 1972 or later becasue prior to that the door handle on the dryer door would have been chrome.....PAT COFFEY

Great Dryer
My mother bought one (a gas model) in 1971 or '72 to replace our overheating Kenmore "frog-eye". Since the dryer was in the garage (and the washer was in the house), it didn't matter if the dryer didn't match. It was a very good dryer, holding large loads and drying them without overheating. Mom paid about $120 for the dryer because it was a "scratch & dent" model. I didn't care, just glad to see the old "frog eye" out of the house!

The Dryer In THIS Photo On THIS Thread....
This is an early 1970's Sears Kenmore "All American" Dryer (or at least, one of the versions of it).
The control panel is similar to the one that came out in 1969, only the 1969 version has a Solid-State Sensor, a Wrinkle Guard, a Lighted Drum and a Full-Width Door.
I don't know exactly what features this one has. About the only thing that stands out to me is that THIS Dryer has a Centered Drop-Down Load-A-Door. As for whether or not this version of the "All American" Dryer has any deluxe features on it is anyone's guess.
The version I grew up with had the Stand Up Control Panel which only had the Cycle Timer and a "Press-To-Start" Button and nothing else. Oh..... ours did come with a Solid-State Sensor, a Wrinkle Guard and a Full-Width Door, but nothing else. The Dryer I grew up with was manufactured in 1975.
This Dryer???? I am going to say 1972 or 1973 and leave it at that.

I have one like that, in electric. It is pretty basic, but, a little more uprgaded in that it has a stainless steel control panel insert and full hamper door and in the lint filter has a control for end of cycle alarm volume, with soft heat timed or auto dry, or air fluff, and a light in the tub.
It is a great dryer,and way ahead of it's time for capacity and gentle but fast drying. I figure 1972 for mine. Just put in a new motor and blower wheel.
I wish they did make a washer to match, the low slant control panel is cool! Can you imagine a matching set?

Judging by the door handle this is a 1972/3 All American, or as we on the site refer to them, Match All dryer. I have never actually seen one with this exact console in person. My friend had a 1968 version with a stand up console, and a cover that flipped down over the controls on the right. His was the Fabric Master design with the full width door. A very popular model. The latest version of this I have seen was a 1975 like Charles describes. An aunt of mine had it, but hers was also a stand up console with a full width door. It also had the fake woodgrain across the blank part of the console.

Charles I think you are right. We must be talking about the same dryer. I'll never forget the first time I saw my aunt's. It was the first time that I had seen a drop down door on a dryer. At the time we had a 69 GE with the side swing door, and although I had seen a few other Kenmores, I was too young to appreciate any detail on them. I remember how neat it was watching my aunt pull the top mounted lint screen out to clean it, and how quietly the dryer hummed when she turned it on.

Seems to be a lot of dryers on craigslist too. I am thinking many older dryers that have lasted thru 2 or 3 washers, are finally moving on, with folks wanting the matching F/L sets. I sure hope they don't get something worse than what they had.
This is the same dryer 2 of my neighbors had when I was a kid and their dryers had Soft Heat and Fabric Master Automatic dry Control and nothing else....PAT COFFEY
