Hello all. First off thank you for taking time to read my post. Secondly - if this is the wrong section please let me know so I can correct it.

I recently bought a home that seemed to be completely original. I gutted the entire kitchen but kept the /oven/stove as it was an old lovely pink GE Americana (best guess 1964). I was hoping I could sell it to someone that appreciates this stuff instead of just taking it to the dump. I have attached a picture of it, I am really just looking for some information on it and potentially how much it might be worth?

The picture is from the listing as I am at work and don't have a picture on my phone but I can get better if it helps!

Thank you for your time!

that's very pretty

As with any good or service - the price is determined by two things:

1) The amount you will accept.

2) The amount a buyer will pay.

Here in the Rocky Mountain West similar vintage items in pink or turquoise stay on Craigslist forever at $350 and are gone within the hour at under $75.

We have one, sadly in bisque, for which I paid $69 at Menards - and would have paid twice that because we needed a 30" high/low and these were outstanding stoves.

So - try the market page here, try word of mouth, try Craigslist and be willing to haggle.

Or, given that there is no newer stove which cooks/bakes/broils better (seriously, there isn't) maybe you should keep it and be happy to have one of the last of the really good American made stoves. Jack Welch and Whirlpool turned American stoves into throw-away junk not too long after this one was made.

Thank you for the replies everyone. SpacePig, could you provide your e-mail and I will send them to you tonight when I get home. Unless you prefer me to post them on here instead.
