Do I dare start this thread? Oh what the hell!!

I have been drinking Gevalia coffee for about 20 years now and I really like it. I keep trying others but I always end up back with the Gevalia.

What kinds do other folks drink?

Coffee

I drink Martinson(red can), Maxwell House Original or Chase & Sanborn.....and ALWAYS brewed to perfection in a perk(could you figure that one out?????????).

First cup regular, just cream(Ha-Ha), and second cup with CoffeeMate liquid Creme Brulee(yummers!)

Seems I most often use EightO'clock beans that I grind fresh. Also really enjoy Dunkin-doughnuts coffee. Have also tried the Folger's beans and those aren't bad either. Gary I haven't tried the Coffee-mate Creme-Brulee yet so with your recommendations I will do so. Terry

Coffeemate Hazelnut or French Vanilla..

I use these two when I can get them in the Fat Free version. I lost a lot of weight a while back so I try to go for the Fat Free versions whenever I can.

I go for the flavored cream right from the first cup.

I used to drink...

...the Gevalia, but it got so bitter that I quit buying it. I now drink the Starbucks decaf House Blend as it is consistant in roast and flavor. I also like to get a Cuban coffee from Ybor City, Florida that's really good.

Been sticking with good old Folger's of late. I think they changed the formula or whatever a few years ago as it used to be really pi$$y no matter how much I used. Now it's much, much better.

If not Folger's, I really like Chock Full O' Nuts, and not just because of the jingle (though that helps, too)! I also like Chase & Sanborn, which I think is just CFON with a different label on the can.

Always with caffeine. Otherwise, what's the point?

Just a little half-and-half, thank you. No sweetener and none of that flavored creamer crap that you can smell all over the house. I have a friend who has a lovely saying about that stuff, but you'll have to email me offline for me to tell you!

Usually Yuban, unless another brand of 100% Colombian is on sale.

Another Cajun Dad-ism

My dad says his Mello Joy brewed in the Mr. Coughee tastes like coffee. The stuff I brew (Starbucks house blend) in my french press is Juan Valdez's mule's shit.

Yes, bathroom humor abounds at my house.

My mom says it tastes like cigarettes.

Helen and I says "THAT'S COFFEE!

I usually like a more medium-roasted coffee (though brewed full-strength, mind). Paulig Presidentti (from Finland) when I can get my hands on it--surprisingly, Grandessa German Roast from Aldi is a pretty good facsimile (and a bargain at 3.45/lb). When I'm in the mood to grind beans, I use Eight o'Clock red bag or Columbian, I think both are great. If I get to St. Louis or Chicago I get Trader Joe's Smooth Mellow blend beans--quite tasty.

If I'm out and want coffee, I usually try to find an independent coffee house, or go to Caribou or Starbucks if those are the only choices.

At work we drink whatever people donate to the cause--Kroger, Folgers, Maxwell House, whatever. It's all good enough!

Oh, and I drink my coffee black ("unpolluted" or "uncontaminated" as some of my more-opinionated Finnish friends would say).

Shippment has arived

I use to drink maxwell house (master blend). I got turned on to a coffee shop on the east side of the city (Cincinnati). They use to roast their beans right in the shop. If you like full flavored coffees you will love it. Since I moved to the west side I now order it 2-3 pounds whole bean at a time and have it shipped. I cant drive to pick it up for $5 which is what the shipping costs. I guess that would make me a loyal addict if i'm willing to go thru all of that. lol

P.S. Just a hint of sugar and fat free creamer. Some of us have a figure to maintain. lol

Make mine decaf, please

As I have said before, medically it's decaf or nothing.

So, I drink a locally roasted decaf Columbian. I buy it whole bean, and deconstruct it in a Braun burr mill. It's roasted just a little darker than average American, but not as dark roast as an Espresso, which is too dark for regular drinking, but is great for a treat.

Usually with a little milk, but not always.

Not sweet at all, or VERY sweet (4 Splenda's).

It makes a dynamite iced coffee.

Sanka

I like my coffee like I like my men,
Strong, black rich,and quick.

JUST KIDDING!!!

Oh well...I thought it was funny...

Gevalia

I like Gevalia Traditional Roast. The Stockholm is too darkly roasted.

I agree with Jason's mom and swear Starbucks tastes like cigarette ashes.

The smell of Folger's on the warmer makes my stomach roll.

I always use a good splash of Fat Free coffee creamer.

I started cream in coffee in my drinking days to keep from retching the first drink of coffee.

I lost 80 pounds when I quit drinking so I use Fat Free creamer to make sure my newly wrinkled butt stays that way. It looks a bit like panty hose that needs to be pulled up.

Kelly

Do you know how to tell if a women is wearing panty hose?
If she farts, her ankles swell.

Did you hear about the man who had sex with a women on the first date. When he finished he said, "If I knew you were a virgin, I would have taken more time."

"If I knew you had more time, I would have taken off my panty hose," the women replied.

we are a maxwell house........

House. Sams does not always have it here, yet wal-mart does, Our local Sam's always seems to have folgers.
