What to do?

Im heading out to Chicago on the 9th and we be there until the 13th to see a good friend... Ill be bored during the day on the 9-10th because she is working during the day. What is there to do in the Schaumburg area?

Any Ideas?

Spend a day hanging out at Woodfield Mall and environs. It is always a interesting place to people watch.

I second that....

There really isn't anything exciting in the Schaumburg area but Woodfield and it's surroundings are good for a few hours anyway. There is a trolley that runs between the mall and several outer shopping areas (like a gigantic Ikea).

Woodfield is good

Woodfield is the largest indoor Mall in the country(more retail space than the Mall of America)
I detest the Ikea... always too crowded!
I live about 10 minutes from there, if you're super bored shoot me an email and maybe we can do coffee or something one evening.

Check out some of the rediculously over sized over the top houses in Barrington and Barrington Hills. Check out the sprawling Sears Corportate Center in Hoffman Estates.
