Hi Larry! I am SO glad someone other than I remembers that the(year not remembered-'60?)GE Filter-Flo agitator caps were also in turquoise!

Mr. H., I do believe the color you are referring to is "Doeskin"(OR, could it be "foreskin"?-same difference!) (:

Happy Festivus to All of Us!

I truly wish for two things this Holiday season. The first thing I desperately would like is to afford(financially & health-wise)to be able to travel beyond the NYC Metro area to meet & visit with fellow members in the USA or overseas! I do have a valid passport. The second thing I would love is to have a nice 1952-1956 Frigidaire Washer, or one from the late 60's with Rapidry 1000 that is in very good working condition, color unimportant.

Best Wishes for Health, Wealth, and Love during this Holiday Season, and the time to enjoy them all!

Jason

Filter-Flo AGI Cap Colors

Hi Jason!

It was the 1959 Filter-Flo that had a seafoam (turquoise) recirc flume and agitator cap and a copper-plated filter pan. My Mom had a '60 that had the black recirc flume and cap with a plastic filter pan. I remember that one of Mom's friends had a Filter-Flo with a pink cap and the copper pan. She was SOOO amused when I suggested a swap!
