LOL

"You Light Up My Life" by Debby Boone!

I was hoping my birthday would fall on some campy disco classic instead, maybe something like "In The Bush" or "Kung Fu Fighting"....haha

Ally Oop

by The Hollywood Argyles.

I've actually heard it, and neither hate it or love it.

Thanks for a fun thing to do, Gadget!

"Don't Stand So Close To Me" by Police was No. 1 in the UK charts at the time. Have never heard of it, but then I'm not a Police fan.

Could be worse though... had I been born a week earlier, the current No. 1 would have been the trashy "Feels Like I'm In Love" by Kelly Marie. I dislike that song intensely, and cringe every time it plays on the radio.

Lawrence---Alley Oop was my favorite record when I was a very little kid. My sister said I played it constantly until my Mom, who'd had enough, eventually hid it from me. When I turned 40, my sister gave me an Alley Oop lunch box with the 45 inside it.

my mom used to sing "Bushel and a Peck" to us when I was a little boy (It's true...I was one at one time!)
