Does anyone know or recoginize the brand of washing machine & dryer used in the movie "Mr. Mom" in which Michael Keaton's character overloaded the washing machine causing it to go bezerk?

The control dial on the dryer looks more to me like a Signature by Montgomery Ward(made by Norge)not a Kenmore.I don't see the give away lint filter on top right rear of this dryer either.I realy think it is a Signature. The washer is definately a Westinghouse Heavy Duty,Multy Speed tumbler washer with the Weigh To Save door.probably around 1970-1971.

Water Level . .

I don't recall the water level being that high on a "properly loaded" machine. Perhaps it was all the high-sudsing Tide and the other crazy laundry products he added to that load! LOL.

The 1983 Movie "Mr, Mom" Starring Terri Garr

In this classic movie, the laundry that had the honor of being inside of Mr. and Mrs. Terri Garr's house consisted of the following (and this one was a clear giveaway):

(01). Westinghouse Flat Door Front Load Washer (in Coppertone)(Late 1960's to Early 1970's).

AND

(02). Sears Kenmore Dryer (probably BOL or near BOL)(definitely 1960's)(look at the control panel and then look at the handy centered "Load-A-Door").

That was an EASY one.

No Laundromat....that dryer is a Kenmore......

If you look closely in the actual movie (this picture does not show it) it has the famous mini hamper-door that Kenmore was so famous for. It also has the style of chrome door pull that Kenmore used on their washers and dryers from 1965 to 1971. FYI: Some of Kenmores BOL dryers from the late 50's thru the late 60's had their lint trap not on the back right corner of the dryer top, but actually it was behind the dryer in the upper right corner.
