Hi,

My parents currently have a Hoover DYN7164D washing machine that was a year old in August. Lately I have seen a yellowy/browny residue on the bottom of the door seal & it the machine looks nice it needs to be cleaned. My mum uses the 14' & 30' minute rapid washes at 30c & I use the A59' at 40c & 60c, the 40c being for clothes & the 60c for towels & bedding. My mum uses liquids & I use powder mostly.

What would be best to clean the machine? Should I use bio powder or a washing machine cleaner? In the older LG machine I used Ariel bio on a 60c wash & that worked well. The Hoover isn't like the LG yet but looking at the door seal it's in a bit of a dirty state & I would like some advice on what to do to clean it.

Thank you. :)
