Early to mid 1970s.  The washer is TOL or next to TOL--TOL if only the TOL had the detergent dispenser (which is what is that rectangular "box" on top of the cabinet).  Dryer is probably TOL too.  They wash like hell--great washers.  Hans' favorite are Norges.  They are noisy, but what's wrong with noise.  You know they are working!!!

Early To Mid 70S Norge Built Washer and Dryer

These were great performers, but the dryer should be installed outside the house because it leaks so much hot air lint and moisture. This is another set like FDs 1-18s where the washer is likely to outlast the dryer, we have so many belts, blower bearings and even new motors in stock for these dryers it isn't funny, I dough that I will ever get a service call on one again. [ if anyone ever needs parts get in touch ]

OMG!!! that is one of the washers I grew up with right down to the color. We bought ours in 1974 and it lasted until 1987. It was one step down from the TOL, couldn't believe my father would go for the bells and whistles. Even so it was horribly loud.

Norge

They wash very well and noisily, they rinse very well and noisily, they spin well and noisily, they even are loud when filling with water! Great washers, they'll turn over anything, and great at lint-filtering too. Hopefully you'll get them, and post more pics

I did not get them she was asking close to 300 bucks for them both... I bought a matching Whirlpool Surgalator washer and dryer for 100 bucks..

The Whirlpool is a late 70s or early 80s its a belt drive and washes really well..I just dont think the Washer is filling up all the way ..

The washer only has two settings ex small and large and that is it model LHA5500W1  ... Has anybody had one of these....

Well I grew up with a Norge 20 pound washer and dryer and that burp-a-lator agitator.. That machine was SOOOO hard on clothes the vanes did not flex at

all and ours was different when agitating it did not slow down when changing direction it was like it hit a wall..Our towels would never last long but that washer

did.My Mom & Dad bought that new before I was born and nothing ever went wrong with them until 1995.. So they lasted about 24 years no problem...
