A couple different varieties of Tide here

I like to switch things up, and try new detergents, but in the last year or two I have been using Tide exclusively.
Right now it is Tide 10X Hygenic clean, ‘original’ scent, which works very well for me. Maybe surprisingly to everyone, I love Tide Simply with bleach Alternative. It keeps whites nice and white, and smells great, almost vintage.

The bleach version of Tide Simply is hard to find (just got a stach at Ollie’s that will last a hood while).

Has anyone heard of or used Mozi Wash? It just popped up on my socials and sorta caught my eye and seems to have decent reviews. I like the idea of an eco detergent with clean / streamlined packaging, and that might smell like higher-end fragrances and colognes.

It’s not cheap but that would track if it actually uses quality oils and perfumes.

Ugh, anyone remember clean breeze tide powder!?? That stuff was to die for. As well as the Plus Downy clean breeze and April fresh powders. Talk about powder heaven!! Absolutely love the liquid too I use it on occasion when I’m in a summery oceanic mood. I switch it up here and there between tide and gain. Gain powders are some of my favorites but don’t work well in my water. Been using this tide plus bleach for a while and I love it. That same great scent as I remember as a child, but it’s just not for me as it’s too mild of a scent. I like a ton of scent and just bought some ultra oxi odor eliminator pods to try out pods again and I just can’t get enough of the scent of these ones. I always try to pair my scents accordingly, if I use Tide detergent I’ll use bounce sheets. If it’s Gain detergent then it’s gonna be gain sheets in the matching flavor. Stopped using softener in my washer recently. Sometimes I’ll also get scent beads.

My current overall favorite is the Gain Super Fresh Blast liquid or the Tide heavy duty Spring Meadow liquid. They pack a major punch and are some top performers. The scent is to die for in both of these. I just wish that P&G never changed the smell of Gain original it’s much different now than it was when I was growing up but still very good and I use it on occasion.

I use Tide Original Liquid, HE of course cause I use a front loader. It's been good overall. When I use up the last jug, I'd love to go back and use Kirkland powder. Cheaper than Tide and I like that it doesn't leave a scent behind similar to free & clear detergent, just I wouldn't put it in the soap dispenser anymore as it creates a build up in there.

My favorites...

My overall favorite for powder is Tide with bleach. I am wondering about this Tide professinal powder though....An honorable mention would be Gain powder.

For liquid, I really like Persil Intense fresh. For whites, I like Persil with stain fighter along with some oxi-clean and a little Dawn. I wish the Persil came in powder. In the USA, one may be able to get that online, but it's a lot more expensive.

Seems like the Persil washed fabrics are softer, but they also seem to attract cat hair easier?

I don't use fabric softener or dryer sheets. Once in a while, I like the scent boosters especially for bedding.

I wash almost everything in "cold" during the summer months and a add a bit of warm during the colder months. I haven't noticed my clothes not getting clean or gunk in the washer. Whites are always tap hot.

Current arsenal

Currently have the following on rotation for my colours:
- Miele UltraColor liquid - honestly been pretty good for me, good scent, good cleaning, leaves everything nice and cared for, etc)
- Miele UltraDarks liquid (but only diluted with the UltraColor liquid or with some fragrance-free liquid, does a good job but has a very strong scent)
- Miele UltraColor Powder (I know it’s nothing special but it does the job for me)

For whites and lights, sticking to Persil Universal Megaperls and hasn’t failed me yet. I find it really works well on my machine’s “steam” cycles (which I think are a quasi-profile wash). This is a GE-branded Haier compact so if anyone’s got any thoughts on those “steam” cycles I’m all ears. All I know is it gets me sheets, towels, and white tee’s perfectly clean.

For additives, the Dirty Labs booster with DNase goes in every load (actually I’m all out) because as a rugby player my clothes need all the help they can get. Also have a bottle of Vanish liquid that I bought a bit back when I first saw on Amazon - mostly use it for pre-soaking or pre-treating. Occasionally I’ll add the fragrance-free Downy Rinse and Refresh but I also just ran out of that.

I have used the lowest level of Tide and other products using the cap with excellent results.
If I'm doing darks, it's either Tide or Cheer.
Kitchen Towels, either Tide or All.
Clorox (LCB) is available for whites if needed. It all depends on what's in the load.
