and what do you reckon to it?

Been using the new Ariels powders lately and actually find them to be better than the rest, however still very critical of the liquids, liquitabs and gel.
They still dont perform anywhere near the powder.

Still use the powder on a 95*c for whites and 40/50*c on coloured etc etc.

Been on the new Tesco Liquids and again they do a good job on coloureds again with the warmer temps.

Has anyone else tried the new Tesco Value Liquid?

FWIR to scent and colour its appears to be very like Tide Original Scent - its whats in the Ariel ball,

Can anyone confirm that it is this, quite low sudsing so perhaps it could be the He version?

On Woolite for acrylics and woolens with half the dose.

and Waitrose seem to have a good line up of scents with their FS's. Meadow is a nice change from the usual Lenors and Comforts.

Here's my current lot. Just trying the new Daz "Summer Flower Power" scent, it's really nice!

Tide, Downy, All & Snuggle stash from US trip, and the small box of Tide lemon powder is from a local crap-store, not exactly sure where this is from as it has a million languages on the side, it seems to be aimed at Eastern Europe(?) It's really good though and has phosphates in it too.

My favourite of the lot is still Ariel Excel Gel. (I have the Bio and Febreze ones too). The Fairy one isn't bad either, great scent and a very good clean for a non-bio.

What I have for my laundering needs are:
Sears Ultra Plus powder laundry soap
Sears Ultra Plus liquid laundry soap
Murphy Oil SoaP
Twenty Mule Team Borax
Mrs. Stewarts Liquid Blueing
Aquanet Hairspray(for removal of those pesky ink stains)
Oxi-Clean laundry spray
Clorox Bleach

These are my regular laundry items plus a case of Faultless heavy starch in original fresh scent on stock at all times(yes I buy a whole case at a time, I go through 2-3 cans per week)I do find I get great results and like that they are all fairly neutral scents. I do not and never have used fabric softner of any kind, don't see a point to since everything gets pressed and heavy starched.

What is the purpose of fabric softner anyway?

My new lineup

I simplified my lineup and I now use:

Bold Pomegranate/Orange Blossom Liquitabs - I love the scent they leave behind. It's refreshing.
All Small & Mighty w/Snuggle - My favorite liquid.

My Secret Weapons:
Tide & Downy Total Care - My Work shirts still look like they did, 15 washes ago...

Bold Pomegranate and orange blossom

Liquitabs......ate the end of the wash they smell like I remember WISK liquid in the 80's in the UK smelt......my favorite detergent smell.!!

Current KITCHEN Stash:

The Makro Colour Tablets were end of line ones and they were selling them off for £2 a box so could not walk past them.
The big box of Makro powder I got because great price plus contains phosphates!..yey! Seems to do a really good job so far but have not used it that much as haven't had it long.

Got a bottle of the Tesco value liquid also. I can confirm it appears to be low sudsing.

Current GARAGE Stash:

The Makro colour liquid was also end of line and was being sold of for £2 so got 4 bottles. It's concentrated, 4litre bottles and you get 64 "Standard" (Medium water normal soil)washes from it.

I always forget things:

The big box powder is low sudsing which is fantastic as I have so many problems with over sudsing issues because of the very soft water.

I am going to try a box of Sainsburys Basic washing powder soon as I noticed it also contains phosphates. Tescos Value and Morrisons Value powder does not contain phosphate.

Trying something new.

I had a friend get me a bottle of laundry detergent this week because I haven't been feeling well. I wanted another bottle of Arm and Hammer HE and told him that Jewel is where I bought it the last time. Well they didn't have any this time so he got me a bottle of Homelife HE liquid. So far I like it, very low sudsing, the scent is not over powering. It's a Supervalu brand compared to Purex.

Hello! :)

I use Simply products from a company called Aquados. We use the Pure one.

Temperatures go up to 95°C, with 75°C and 95°C being used to disinfect items like dishcloths, etc. We use 40°C for daily loads in an attempt to make up for our detergent’s potential weaknesses in certain areas, especially as it is non-biological. We occasionally add Ecover Laundry Bleach to white loads.

I don’t have any photos of my own at the moment. Sorry.

The Simply stuff appears to work well, and it contains phosphates! :D

As I’ve said here before, I provide some feedback for them on their products, so I get to sample new and improved products, too, which is fun. :)

Right! I’m off to eat a… wait a minute… What’s this?! Oh, it’s a chicken sandwich! It’s lunchtime! :D Yum! :)

Speak to you all soon! :)

Take care. :)

Carl :)

We used to use the Amway brand of detergent in both liquid and power format years ago, grandma and my aunt used it too. Haven't seen or heard of an Amway dealer in quite some time. Do they still make this detergent.
