whats the oldest stacked set that obtainable?

I have been in the washer collecting game now for a while.and have been doing some research on the vintage stacked washer dryer sets. I already know that the westy space mates are highly desired and quite rare. can anyone tell me what others are from the same era that are anywhere near obtainable? I already have my hoovers 510 and 512 with a harvest gold dryer. I saw on images a Kenmore set from probably the early 60s but I don't see it in the archives. please let me know. thanks Bill the drycleaner

First Stack Washer-Dryer

1957 Westinghouse, Then WH redesigned them in 1964 and they were MUCH better machines.

 

2nd Frigidaire Skinny-Minny 1969

 

WP& KM 24" TL Stack 1984

 

SQ TLS 1986

 

WCI TLS around 1988

 

There were several companies that had small portable that could be stacked on various rack systems, most of these were not really serious laundry systems IMEO.

 

I may have forgotten a few models, let me know.

personally I liked these sets.....known as 'Space Mates'

under a bunch of different name badges, Westinghouse, Frigidaire, Gibson, and Kenmore, they fit so many configurations......
