Anne Coulter

I think she was hired as a Chica by the Republican party to show America that Republican woman can have tits and blond hair and stil have an opinion given them by Republican men in some rich man's bar in Newport Beach, or La Jolla, CA.

I think she is pretty good as what she does, look good,
hate Democrats.
That is her chip implant from the third Stepford movie she will no doubt star in and not know why she is being made fun of.
What is her political career? A Republican Blonde?
I have socks older, blonder, and more reliable than she is, and would not want her anywhere near my toes, let alone my head.
Beware the Republican Blonde Woman who comes from nowhere and looks good on TV.

We have had Robots in the White House Before this next election.

coca cola?

Hi,
here coca-cola is known to provocate nausea even if I heard someone saying that it can stop it...

What about a very good glass of fresh water? I hostenly prefer nothing to avoid it but...wait a minute and why not...YOGA!

I had heard Coke SYRUP is the key.

Water sounds great. It is my understanding that water can help one lose weight. Frequently thirst is misunderstood as hunger. Have water instead!
It helps me at that stage before nausea when the stomach is complaining.

HELLO EUGENE: it's lunch time and i hope you're feel

hate to see a good man down, always startles me

If you're in a lighter mood, the best cure for nausea is vomiting ;'D

One of Jean-Paul Sartre's plays is titled, "La Nausee." Often wondered what it's about, besides, of course, nausea, Your dilemma brought it to mind. I'll put it on my list. Thanks !

One of the sweetest women I know, a school nurse named Nancy, swears by the Coke protocol--flat, (shake it till the fizz dies), and room temp.

To your health then, I'll shake my luncheon coke and pfizz it all over myself YEAHHHHHHHHH

I feel your pain

Nausea is caused by a "stoppage" of the natural peristaltic action of the digestive system called an "ileus". My Father, who was an MD used to put his ear to our stomachs to listen for either the natural gurgling or a healthy system or the silence of an unhealthy gut. If we were dry-heaving in the middle of the night he'd give us paragoric(an opiate)dissolved in some water. If we couldn't keep anything down, he'd give us something stronger injected. On his advice, I keep a prescription of Compazine suppositories in the fridge for emergencies when I'm sick and can't keep anything down. I empathize. No pain, in my opinion, is worse than the nausea of the stomach flu. I also keep a jar of Coca Cola syrup in the fridge for the next day. He would go to our local soda shop and actually buy the syrup for us. It was always the only thing that he would give us for our first draught after the storm. He said it was used in the hospitals for the same reason and that it wasn't fully understood why the stomach tolerated it, but they thought it had something to do with a property of the cola extracts. And no, it had nothing to do with the cocaine that used to be in Coca-Cola before WW 1.

What a cool story, Ken. Thank You

Cocoa leaves and Kola nuts are two of Mother Nature's finest most versatile herbals. Wonder if they'll find that it's the recently discovered flavenoids that work the magic.

Ann " The Man" Coulter

Oh Brett Somers!

You are too funny!! The goal here is to alleviate Eugene's nausea, not make it worse.

That wretched beast could make anyone sick to their stomach!

Now about your nausea, I agree with David. I usually go with Ginger Tea or the throat lozenges from Whole Foods Market.

Feel Better Eugene!

I am sorry you have crummy tummy. I don't know if you have any in your house, but according to a friend from Slovenia, one shot of Slivovitz will stop nausea dead in its tracks, although it is a brutal experience. Ken is right, Compazine suppositories are life savers. That is the friendly, easy to take secret bullet hidden in my refrigerator, but I hope I never need one. Paragoric is the absolute worst tasting medicine ever. I don't think it is available anymore, but when my sister was teething we had it in the house and I remember being made to take some when I had a stomach virus--yech. Peppermint is also supposed to calm the stomach. It's easier to keep liquids down if you only take a teaspoon at a time. As soon as you can get out or have someone go to the store for you, pick up some Pedialite to replenish your electrolytes. I hope you feel better soon. Tom

nausea aids

well you may all laugh at this cure but it works. I had a stomach bug I couldn't get rid of for weeks along with my brother. Juniper berries are great for getting rid of the nausea. Well you ask where can I get Juniper berries? Gin is made from these berries.Put a couple of shots in a glass and put in the freezer for an hour or so. Once it is cold take a few gulps and swallow. It will burn a little going down but within usually a few minutes you will start feeling better. My brother tried it and couldn't believed it worked, after 3 weeks of illness. Another aid is a teaspoon of baking soda in a small glass of water. Stir till clear then down the hatch. all of it. Then walk around the house. The movement of your body will help remove the gas in your stomach. You will never believe the burps that will come out of you. This works very well also for indigestion and heart burn.

THC ?

Isn't that Marijuahhunah?

See why we need you brains around here?

How did we all overlook the fact that it is the number one remedy for chemo-induced nausea which is why it's on the ballots for medical use?

And then there was that bong thread a couple of weeks ago

And i thought our Robert was so straight.

Eugene, did you used to get high many moons ago and swear it off, or are you that rare cannubial virgin?

Recurring, frightening bouts of bronchitis convinced me to give it up several years ago. And while it had been a part of my daily life since Nixon was in office, I can't say I miss it. Good times, though. G-o-o-o-d times...
