For the kids...

Now if I can keep my grubby little hands out of the bowl until tonight, but I have a terrible sweet tooth and I love Smarties!

Yeahm, or those Swizzle sweets.

Just got told off here for keeping all the Drumsticks hostage... lol.

Well... speaking about sweets...

Can't avoid to share this... the proudness of "Made in Italy" I think... I live 15Km from the establishment where Nutella is manufactured... can't you believe the incredible nut smell specially now they're producing for Christmas...

"Che mondo sarebbe senza Nutella" it's the Slogan... (=How the world would be without Nutella?)

PS: Sorry, but I found an Italian link only. Put it on sliced bread...mmmmmm!!!:-DDD

Halloween Cartoons

..."Mine's bigger"..

all this candy looks good, but like Robert I have a Sweet tooth. So no candy allowed in house to maintain my girlish figure. ;o)

Mom had bought a big bag of 50 halloween size Dairy Milk chocolate bars last week but I managed to eat most of them so she went this afternoon and bought a few bags of Kit Kats and I've already polished off about 4 of those before the first kid showed up.

Nice Pyrex..........

Do you have the Primary colored Pyrex set? I love mine. The large yellow is perfect for scalloped potatoes and ham! Which reminds me, we haven't had that for awhile!

My pumpkin family is pictured at the link, as well as my kids in their costumes.

Washertalk

That pumpkin-eater cartoon took a few seconds, but when I GOT it--awesome.

Happy Halloween Everyone

I'm dressed as a nun

what fun

Sister Boom-Boom, what were you thinking?

;-)

I'd love to see you in uniform... complete with a map pointer in hand and a cigarette in frowning mouth.

amazed

at the decorations people put out... Jack spent today at my parents house because I had a 12 hour day to work, and driving over there tonight after work to pick him up I was seeing houses decked out like it was Christmas...
I could not believe the extremes people were going to for halloween!
When I was a kid it was cardboard things taped in the front windows of the house. Today its as elaborate as Christmas decor!

I can just see Greg...

"Now, for the trick-or-treater who can guess what this pumpkin is, you get an extra piece of candy!"

OMG - I could not believe the trick-or-treaters in my neighboorhood - THOUSANDS of little kids and SUV's! What happened to just walking around with a parent? Times are a changin'

Ben

The times really have changed...as I was handing out the candy I saw TONS of cars driving down our street, stopping every few houses to let the kids out. I only spotted a handful of kids and parents actually walking. My parents and sister left to go to another subdivision in Bellville instead of just going "locally".

As for the turnout, I'd say it wasn't bad since we're in a sort of "central location". Kids came in droves starting at around 6:00, with a few minutes of no activity. I almost thought I'd be running out of candy early, but half the bowl was left by the time I shut the light off at 8.

Well I need to get to Texas Tonight...

I LOVE chocolate Necco wafers!!!! Robert....Smarties, and Dum Dums in the same bowl....some sort of irony there, or just a coincidence? ;)

I'm still processing the fact that Diomede lives in close proximity to the Nutella factory....

(runs to kitchen for big jar of Nutella and saltine crackers...)
