Hard to tell if it's an original Westinghouse or a White-Westinghouse but the design is pretty much the same in both. I'd certainly have a look at it, these are fun washers and this looks pretty TOL for it's day.
Ohhh that would be a nice save! If it is White-Westinghouse it would be one of their first branded machines and it appears to be the Top of the Line model or near top of the line!
This would be fun to play with Eric, although you'd have to remove the Lock 'n Spin feature which is easy to do.
It may be a Montgomery Wards model as well. The Westy, White Westy, and Wards were identical. They interchanged the design with the ramp agitator and straight vane agitator and the water filter on some models. There was no defining feature of each brand. This model tends to have the ramp agitator that is blue (one of my absolute favs)!!!!
Nice machine.....five push button water temps, variable water level, and selectable speeds......suprised it doesn't have the Weigh-to-Save option for something closest to TOL......
