Sorry not to offend our European friends, but adopting manual clean filters is going backwards.... Just my opinion

I agree 100%. I believe alternating wash arms is a European trait too, which I believe Frigidaire was the first to do in their dishwashers.

Tell me about it. I thought Frigidaire was the 3rd largest appliance manufacturer behind GE and Whirlpool.

It's interesting that Jerome was unaware of Frigidaire's history regards to the sale to WCI.
