I saw a similar post a few months back, however I guess it's gone to archives. Any idea where I could find replacement blades for my 60's GE hand mixer?

Long story short, I'll never lend anyone my mixer again.

The way I've always replaced beaters is through thrift stores. Thrifts usually have a stock of odd beaters hanging somewhere near the silverware. You do have to know exactly what the old ones looked like, but I've been able to replace beaters on several occasions, making a mixer complete again. Best of all, they're usually twenty cents each, same as a piece of silverware. I recently wanted to acquire a second set of beaters for a Sunbeam Mixmaster MMB; I accomplished my goal in just one thrift-store visit, for forty cents.

Doesn't get better than that.

Yes Sandy is right on! Take a look at the thrift store gadget bins. Post picture if you mixer. Most GE hand mixer beaters have the same general shape the the lengths that go inide the mixer are slightly different depending on the model.

I wish i had my mixers here so i could snap a photo to show the differences.

Good luck in the search!
