I can't find any off any website for my area, any tips?
I live in Whitmore lake and am pretty much aware of the area, and where things can be found. If it's a matter of ability to pick up, or lack of ability to drive anyplace besides Brighton that could pose an issue. I find nothing up there. Most of the people up there (are rich), (and) just change things FOR change sake, not out of necessity or need.So finding many OLD appliances is pretty much not gonna happen.
You may need to try places like the ReStore on Grand River Ave., or go make friends with Brighton Appliance on Grand River Ave downtown. Ask them if they would be willing to keep an eye out for you. I did that and it turned up SEVERAL nice older sets, after I found my basically new Maytags (from a little used summer home).
I found my 1983 set in Pontiac/Waterford, and drove up there to get them. They were worth the drive. There IS a set of 806's up near us but a drive away (on Craigslist)....the set was listed in the ShoppersSquare...

And here is the 806 set in Fraser. I'm not sure what you may find with this set, as I'm sure because it was already scoped out by those posting in shoppers square, and maybe a call or twenty have come in with people salavating about it, you may or may not have a chance to get them less than the 200. He origianlly listed them for 600. but dropped the price about two weeks ago. I'd jump on these. If I didn't have a wonderful set already, I would jump on these...

Guess the Fraser set has been spoken for...
The Fraser set was thankfully picked up by another collector over in Roseville!! So glad to know that it's stayin in state....

There was (is?) A harvest gold 806 (I think!) On Jackson Craigslist for $40, says it works fine. I almost picked it up but didn't have time (it is in Albion, about 25 minutes away from me)
