Congrats on a great job

Makes me want to sell my beachfront property in San Diego, take the proceeds and move to someplace where I can build a compound....

Well Spinout...

...that's just what I did. Had a lovely waterfront home in Florida....but...no basements there...so....time to move! I haven't even THOUGHT of looking back. I love the country life, polite people, and unblocked roadways! Mark

Mark, is this new construction? I love the tiles (especially the coral). I got very worried recently when HD dropped their turquoise tile from the lineup. I hope the manufacturer continues to make this for a few more years when I'm ready for my kitchen : )

That ramp is a great idea too!

Hi Cory!

The original home was built in 1925. We took it down to the studs and expanded. The home originally had three bedrooms upstairs, a kitchen, formal dining, formal living, and a sunroom. When finished it will sport all the above plus a library, a new 1,800 sq ft master suite, wine cellar, bar and billiards room, hobby/parts room, movie theater, laundry room, laundry studio display area, breezeway, and an 8 car garage. Original home was about 5,000 sq. ft. The newly reconstructed home is about 28,000 sq. ft. We have been in construction/destruction for the last three and a half years. Needless to say, I'm really ready to get it finished! Gary and I have named the house CHATEAU WYTHEMONT. Mark

Mark,

Three and a half years - I give you and Gary lots of credit for patience. I still remember the one setback you posted on the site. It's nice to know that the finished project is just around the corner and from what we've seen, it's great.

Best wishes,
Rich

I am just speechless, you both have done an incredible job, what a great way to display and use your collection, and the garage for the great Lincolns too. I know you can't wait for moving day! Let me know if you need any help.
