Where is the warming tray??

Automatic Washer - The world's coolest Washing Machines, Dryers and Dishwashers

To hell with the warming tray which is obviously missing and not mentioned; the better question is where is the vacuum cleaner part of the skillet? The only way it would be worth $199 is if it were a combination electric skillet-vacuum cleaner as the ad states.

Warming tray!

Its not there ,but it goes under the bottom, I just bought a deluxe Hoover pan, with broiler in the lid, and the warming tray for 7.00 at the Goodwill, so they are NUTS!

Its used and it has dings and scratches.

The last line of their write-up should say:

"Buy it now - we will pack it safely and ship it quickly while laughing all the way to the bank!"

Rex,

I did just that this past summer. I stopped @ an estate sale on the 2nd day (1/2 price), and found a gently used Hoover skillet for $2, by a little old lady nonetheless. It was in need of a good cleaning though. Bought it and took it home, removed the detachable handles, put the disassembled pan & handles in the dw, and it came out looking like brand new. It never had the broiler lid or warming tray, but it has a tilt leg. Works terrific! I gifted it to my wife's best friend for their cottage in Northern WI.

They do indeed come with a tray. I bought that same model with the copper-style lid and it came complete. Those are good skillets and i love the cooking surface WITHOUT a non-stick coating.

Brett, it looks to me like the little support rails for the tray are on the bottom of the skillet ( the pic of the underside with the heat element). They have prolly lost the warming tray, if they ever had it. Did Hoover outsource these little gems or made at Boss Hoovers Factory? alr2903

These are genuine Hoover product. I think Hoover Co acquired some small appliance manufacturer in the 60s?
