Well, they seemed to be claiming that the liquitabs were highest scoring because they were the best all rounders. Absolutely right, no bleach means that certain stains aren't washed away, but I think these did an ok job of partly removing bleachable stains (because it's a decent detergent) and so scored some points. It scored really well on removing make up stains, in particular.
The cynic in me says that if P/G had given Which? a `bung' to throw the test results, they would most want the liquitabs to come out on top. Surely they generate most income - with no control over dosage at all, isn't 20 washes about a fiver?
Having said that, to be fair, Which? claim Tesco value dishwasher tabs to be the best. They would have said Fairy if there was some sort of backhander going on.
I think that the Ariel powder tabs would have been a fair winner...they disolve great, clean fine and I have come to like the smell. They were only beat by about one point or whatever - it's just how the overall results panned out. They also tested for colour fading and of course this stuff would get more points than the powder for the lack of bleach.
Mind you, they didn't test Formil....!!!! Another fine detergent and with a classic `Ariel Future' scent, for half the price. And sudses less. Cleans just as well. Doesn't disolve quite so well but perfectly acceptable.
I haven't been able to put my Formil down for a week! This is unhead of loyalty for me!!!!
