I'm looking for some input/advise as to which of my two dishwashers I should invest my time in fixing. They're both Kitchenaid. Black one's model # is 4KUDP220T2 MS, motor # 562NXHBJ-7199. It was filthy when I purchased it recently, and after A LOT of cleaning and repairs, it still leaves lots of "nibblies" on the upper rack, top of door/tub. Is this just a crappy unit, or is there something I can further do to make it wash properly.
The other one's model # is KDI-61C. The last time I tried it, water was being sprayed from what looked like the top of the motor or the cooling fan. Doing some research here, sounded like a shaft seal issue? If so, how nasty is that to fix, or is it something else?
