Help Support :

Here is a run down for my family
My mother had a 35 year ould A806 Maytag with a 2004 Whirlpool dryer
We have the 5142 Kenmore front loader built for Kenmore purchaed in Feb of 2005 and a TOL GE dryer from 2002
2 sons and wives and 2 daughters and husband all have the stacked GE (fridgemore) front load all bought at the same time as a scratch and dent for 395.00 a set.
Last son and wife has the gallery front load Frigidare with the controls on top and a now broken BOL GE dryer
Last daughter has a Frigidaire 2140 with matching dryer

Hey Theo,
Thanks for the pic. Very well put together. Those blocks even look sanded on the edges. Your system of adding wheels is well thought out. It also saves on wear and tear on the machines themselves when they get moved as you don't have to shove and yank the machine, taking a chance of damaging or denting.

I like the clean geometric styling of your appliances. So reminescent of styles we had here in the late 70s and 80s.

Another question for you. In your first pic there appears to be a basin between the washer and dryer picture and on top, what are the bars and the blue form fitting piece on that? looks interesting.

No detail goes unnoticed...

Erik, the blue thing is a drying rack that can be hung on doors etc. For a neat result when sawing timber I can recommend the Japanese saws. I have used the one pictured here for making the wooden supports.

Dyson

Hi Folks,
I am the proud owner of two TOL Dyson washers the first is my CR01 Memory the second is my CR02 2 Drums Allergy. You could say they are modern classics as sadly they are no longer made. I just love my Dysons; the CR01 Memory the older of the two is my daily driver and has completed more than 6000 cycles to date.

David

Washer is a Frigidaire GLTF1670AS0, vintage 2002.
Dryer is an electric Whirlpool "Imperial" series,(LE9200XW) circa 1990. Sucker refuses to die! I can't imagine what I will eventually replace it with..don't want to think about it.

I saw my identical pictured above GE Filter Flo at the Habitat Restore today for $40 I believe. Can't have two now. I was there to pick up a Maytag vertical a/c for my sister, near new for $50
