Sadose,

What modell is your washer exactly?
Is itthe Miele W 4466 wps or the Miele W 4446 wps?
Or none of those two modells?

You are wondering why I´m ask?

Well, I need a new washer soon, my 2 year old AEG is going broken.
At the moment I´m searching a new washer and I´d like to have the same as you!

Dose your machine has the pillow-cycle?

Fisher & Paykel is not found at Sears, only at Lowe's...well, that's the only store I've seen them in.

Hi

My machine is a W4446WPS and it does indeed have a pillows cycle which is very effective indeed.

yes, I saw these F & P machines at a Sears "outlet", we charge the same price for damaged crap, store in Massachusetts.

Isn't is true that the FL dryer is a GE.

I am extremely pleased I have to say. Washing, rinsing and spinning efficiency on all cycles, even the delicate ones are nothing short of superb. The machine has an induction (or brushless whichever you prefer) motor so it's really quiet even at 1600rpm. Build quality is exceptional. I find they do take a bit of getting used to in order to obtain the desired results from it but once you're used it, it's nothing short of exceptional. It has all the programmes that the Navitronic W3985WPS model has but has a simplified user interface, much the same as the W3922WPS model which our Lavamat_Jon has. One of my more worthwhile purchases overall. Hope this helps. :-)

hi guys
i'm currently using the Whirlpool Top Loader 8100 series. I have the 1970's Hitachi on standby tho, just in case i ever want to use it. We don't have a dryer at the moment. The ye old Bendix dryer i had conked out a while ago and got thrown out before i even had a chance to look at it ( was not happy ). We have a whole heap of lines underneath our patio area that pull out for when it rains and things dry well under there.

In order of the washers' positions on 3 walls of the basement with accompanying dryers noted but not placed side by side:
Duet he3t
KitchenAid with black control panel from around 1990, next to the top of the line, with one matching electric and one matching gas dryer
Kenmore Dual Tumble washer, with single belt, motorized drain pump and Italian motor and components inside the old drop door Westinghouse Space Mate design machine
Maytag A806 with blue band on lighted control panel and DE806 dryer
Maytag time-fill Highlander model 102, I think, from about 1961
Creda EcoWash Supa Speed 1000 still going
Miele W1918 on pedestal
Miele W1986 on Pedestal
WP Cabrio dryer with window door
GE Custom V TOL dryer from 1968
Frigidaire DCI58 Filtrator Dryer
And in the first floor bathroom, a Haier 4 lb impeller in the bottom of the tub automatic
Outside under the deck: the KA gas dryer, the WP Supreme 80 2 speed gas dryer and the 1st Kenmore match-all dryer in coppertone with soft heat and modulating valve gas burner and flip-up cover over the deep dish timer dial and start button.
Next to these is the When Hell Freezes Over emergency gas stove that has been turned on twice since 2000, after the 2001 tornado and after the 2003 hurricane. I think it is brown or coppertone, but it stays under a tarp.

Maytag Neptune MAH4000 washer/MDE4000 Dryer. BTW That set replaced the 1984 WP Design2000 washer that had a horrible time balancing bedding and jeans loads. The WP dryer was way too small, so it took extra passes to thoroughly dry heavy items.

KitchenAid "Superba" KAWE760 washer & KEYE760 dryer
Fisher & Paykel SmartDrive GWL08 washer & DE04 dryer (living with grandmother)
Fisher & Paykel Intuitive Eco IWL12 washer & SmartLoad DEGX1 dryer
Frigidaire WO-65 washer
Maytag A206 washer
Maytag A906 washer & DE906 dryer (in coppertone)
Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959KL0 washer
GE WWA5600B washer
GE WPSR4130 washer & DS4500E dryer (eeeeeek!)
GE WWA7400P washer
Whirlpool Calypso GVW9959KQ1 washer & GEW9868KQ1 dryer
Frigidaire WD-A washer

custody of Whirlpool LE5790XP dryer

and probably custody in a couple weeks of Whirlpool LE7800XP washer

Maytag Dependable Care

from 1997:

Washer- LAT9806AAE
Dryer- LDG9806AAE

I got them about this time of year, too.

Three apartments later, still running like new.

I have been very pleased with them and their performance.

This is my Whirlpool set for the last 8 years. Not one repair on either one. Pretty happy with them, except washer is a bit noisy.

Theo, You have a nice set up there.
I particularily like the very neatly assembled platforms so perfectly fit to the appliances. Did you make those?

I want to eventually make some type of platform for my Duet washer. I know that it is so important to have them level. Do you ever have a problem with your machines vibrating on those?

They look so well put together. stright edges, etc.

kenmore 80 series, used i bought it off a nice lady on craigslist for 100 bucks,i have NO complaints, i love it! wouldnt change a thing about it!

Sadose

So, I maybe will buy this washer, only have to wait until the drum bearings of the AEG Lavamat 78800 are finally completely broken.

One last question:
What did you pay for it?

I have a Zanussi TCE7227W Dryer, its the best dryer i've had. Its really quiet and the sensor works perfectly. Its also a handosme beast, much nicer than the new look ones :-/ In my flat there is also a Whirlpool AWO/D 5516. It does the job, and i'm chuffed the landlord didn't just plonk in an cheapo Indesit.
