Can anyone help me with any info on this dishwasher.
Made by Loran Industries in Toronto.
Here is a picture of the manual. I do not know even the date it was made and do not think the company still exists.

Thanks.

I remember those being for sale throughout the 70's. Not sure if they go back to the 60's or not. You could get them from the Consumers Distributing catalog / stores and I think either Woolco or Kmart sold them as well. No longer made as far as I know however a different make still is.. Carocelle and here's the website.
BTW I think Consumer Reports tested them at one time and they didn't do very well. Especially these days because you have leave the hot water running the whole time while it's working and there just isn't the pressure.

Blanchard Built in

I have something very much like this machine but built in. Had hoped to some day use it for a glass washer in a bar but 15 years later it is still in storage. They work great, this one the rack spins around & the wash arm is fixed. You add the liquid dish soap to a despencer next to the tap that turns the machine on. One quick rince , wash for a few minutes & when the soap is gone clear water rinces & you tip the lid to dry. Great fun & a big helper for your home bar. This machine is solid stainless steel. Pic's to follow asap. Mike

Carocelle Dishwasher

When I was in college I bought a Carocelle Dishwasher. At the time they were only about $25. It really didn't work that well on dirty dishes. It would work well on dusty ones I suppose. It created lots of drama when you put the soap in but other than that it was pretty useless.

Over 350,000 in use today.

Oh? I'm guessing that they might have SOLD that many, but I question how many are actually in use today.

and what about the energy rating?

Well.....maybe it's funny to see the machine in operation, but can't imagine that it does really a good cleaning job just with warm water and a bit liquid detergent that is sprayed arround like a lawn-sprayer with low pressure at about 45°-60°C!?
So, to get normal items clean you will need to pre-treat them, I'm sure, like pre-rinsing and maybe pre-soaking and scrubbing them, which will cost more water and more energy.
Also I can imagine that this little "machine" will use twice as much water per set of dishes than a big electric dish-washer does, am I right?
I personally have a nice dish-washer from 1952, "Self-Maid" it's called, that also has a transparent acrylic dome, so one can watch the funny action inside, but this machine has a heater and thermostat as well as an electric motor with impeller action and does a really good job although it needs only 4 minutes washing time per load!

Thanks for the info

Thanks for the help.
The one I have is new in the box and now I have to figure out if I want to keep it or sell it.
