I am still in progress with my rebuild on the 1869 washer however as i have pulled all 3 machines i have down from the shed. I am thinking of working on the 2169 next. I believe there may be something wrong with its timer however as it doesnt seem to advance (i have not really looked into it) I am looking to rebuild that machine still however one thing i was wondering is it possible to modify it so the spin speed is faster? i suspect if the pulley on the motor is changed out for a larger pulley perhaps from an old basket drive assembly i am removing from the current build.
My thoughts however are this will likely put extra load on the motor.
