Hello, Gents!

Forgive me if it's sacrilidge to mention a STOVE on this site, i mean, no noises, doesn't have any neat moving parts or cool cycle lights, etc, but does anyone know a good source for interior door gaskets/seals for this old job? Mod #RFE355PG. Also, is there any info anyone has on how to correctly (by engineer designs, mind you, i.e. OEM) load up this Maytag DW i have? Mod # WU900, originally Harvest Gold, now not so garish as universal white! Works great, but puzzled as to exactly what is "supposed" to go where, and no OEM stickers on doors or elsewhere anymore... Can give picts if requested, if that helps to ID it. BTW, is push-button start design (no dials) and has quick-adv timers (sound like old city busses when you drop the change in!) if that helps. One last thing: why and when did Maytag go to loading plates, etc on top racks? Thanks!

Re: Some Info:

Hi! Chris, first of all, Welcome to the Appliance Club. Since you are new, just to let you know that "everything else" other than Vintage and Deluxe Washers and Dryers are on these respective Thread Posting areas and everything else needs to by written on the Super Thread area.

I'm going to continue this on the Super Thread and it will be a new listing.

Good Luck otherwise, Steve

Ah! There's the rub. You partially redeem yourself by discussing the dishwasher. However, you admit the error of your ways, but post this anyway. A partial "off to the Super forum" to you!

But really this is two different posts in one. Repost your stove question separately over in Super.

Didn't Maytag start their dishwasher line with the plates on top and switch to the conforming plates on bottom configuration in the late 1970's?
