Whirlpool imperial mark 18 dryer

My whirlpool imperial mark 18 dryer heating element was glowing very brightly and then it popped two times with a bi of flashing as well and now it heats up but does not glow and I need help with that

Pull it out for examination.

The heating element more than likely burnt out or something.
