Most models I've seen up for sale have been like this. The timer indicator was either red or white. Shannon, in your posting history of this model, there's one of each color. Another variance was cycle button name differences for the same cycle--Potscrubber, Normal, Light, Energy Saver or Potscrubber, Heavy, Normal, Light. Also, I saw early versions of this 1200 with woodgrain look panel around the buttons (I think when Debbie Reynolds was in a magazine ad for this new model-at that time was the designated TOL before the electronic panel 2000 series models. Those interior color were a light celery green rather the light blue
Shannon, my mom bought one of these like in fall of 1988 or 1989 to replace her 1973/1974 Kenmore Rotorack. A couple of times when I visited them in Houston, the dishwasher was used and I was sitting in the den casually "listening" On my unit, the cyccles with only 2 post wash rinses, timer would advance after completing the wash drain the timer would advance to the 2nd of the post-wash rinses. On my mom's, it filled for the 1st post-wash rinse and did that phase, and then when it began to start the 2nd rinse, I heard the timer advance (unlike mine) and I about levitated out of my chair. I had to discretely observe "casually" several times (she didn't like me messing with her appliances by then)to verify the phenomenon timer advancing past the 2nd rinse timer segment to the 3rd rinse timer segment to produce that 2nd post-wash rinse.
