Whirlpool LA5580XKW1 available (free, Long Island)

Hi all, I have a Whirlpool LA5580XKW1 available free for pickup if anyone is local enough and interested. I believe it is from 1991. Pictures below, including of the rust on the rim edge. It is located on Long Island about an hour out from NYC. I believe it works just fine and can check this coming week if needed. Any questions or if interested, let me know.

Serial number C24182140 is 41st week of 1982 manufacture date.

Ah, thank you! I'm new to the forum and doing most of my research online which can be contradictory at times and also means I am unsure whether something like this is necessarily desirable. So 1982 it is! Thanks for the heads up.

1982 is more up for collectibility (with condition of course being a concern and major parts gone NLA) than 1991, being that it's an "old-style" belt-drive mechanism vs. the "newer" direct-drive.

*Belt-drive production ended 1986.  Direct drive was from sometime in 1981 through 2010-2012.

If I'm not mistaken this was the final panel style of the belt-drives.
