Why? And those didn't start until sometime into the 80s. Also, my parents had the TOL GE set from 1985 with the Mini-Quick, and it had the wood grain. You can see in the pic, the chrome trim is larger, and sticks out wider than the back splash. It was sloppy, I don't know why they did that.(?)
