That's standard capacity washer, and a rather late model at that. Dryer is likely standard capacity too. My guess is the washer was made in 1982 or so. If it were much newer, it would not have the Whirlpool only cabinet indents, as WP went to a common WP/Kenmore cabinet shortly after.
The washer is neat because Kenmore had discontined 29-inch standard cap. machines by this time, in favor of 24-inch cabinet BDs and DDs. This version of the standard tub is different in that it is somewhere around 1/2 inch wider than the previous standard tub. It became available in the second half of 1981, and can be differentiated from the previous tubs by the interupted perfs in the bottom, which had always been continuous in the previous models. These can be seen clearly in the seller's latest picture.
When WP redesigned the baseplate of the large capacity machine to allow for a slightly slimmer large capacity tub (which didn't affect useful capacity much but it holds about 3 fewer gallons, thus making it more energy efficient for those yellow EnergyGuide deals), they used the same baseplate for the standard machine, which had not been done before. This narrowed the big tub a little, and widened the standard one. As I mentioned, no Kenmores saw this redesign in standard capacity, but WP used them until the end of BD production.
There weren't a lot of standard BD models after the 1982 line - by 1985 just an LA5310 and an LA5710, but there were a few 1984s that hung around into 1986. Oddly, I never saw these in a store when I looked, and I was a serious shopper at one point in 1986. I only saw the large capacity models. Obviously they were sold somewhere!
That set is available at a great price!
