Hey guys, what did you think was the best surgilator from Whirlpool? What did you think of their power? To me, their surgilator action is very buttery smooth.
Wow! What was the best of the best in their lineup? I love the powerful turbulence Whirlpool washers are known for. From my experience the winged double duty is/was a powerful agitator.Turns over full loads very well.

As far as the large capacity machines go, the winged double duty surgilator is what replaced the extended fin surgilator that was heightened and had flared fins towards the top. I would still love to get a hold of one of those 18 lb surgilator agitators to try in my KenmoreWow! What was the best of the best in their lineup? I think the power fin is an underrated agitator. It's quite effective and especially in the smaller tub machines. My old Maytag A482 with it's blue agitator and helical drive transmission does a fantastic job on anything thrown into it.
What replaced their double duty super surgilator?
Wow! So I suspect that Whirlpool/Kenmore was the juggernaut in the laundry industry with the dual action agitator. What did they name their dual action agitator? The Double-Duty Super Surgilator was Whirlpool's alternative for 18-pound classic belt-drive machines regards to the agreement with Sears for introduction of the Dual-Action initially being exclusive to Kenmore.
I vaguely recall there was a straight-vane for WP direct-drives that was called "Double Duty" before the Sears agreement expired and dual-action was brought to WP direct-drives.
I thought Whirlpool called it the extra roll agitator or something.Kenmore? They called it the Dual-Action Agitator. You are not aware that Whirlpool engineered and patented it with agreement that it would be exclusive to Kenmore for 10 years?
